An inclusive AFL ‘come and try’ for teenagers living with disability

Possability and AFL have partnered to bring an inclusive ‘come and try’ program for teenagers living with disability who want to learn the basics of football in a fun and supportive environment.

Delivered by AFL facilitators, the program focuses on developing key football skills, building confidence and enjoying being part of a team. Learn to kick, handball, mark and work as a team!

Event Details

What: Two-hour ‘come and try’ AFL sessions

Where: UTAS Lions Football Club, Newnham Drive, Newnham

When: Wednesday 29 July and Wednesday 5 August 2026

Time: After school, 4.00pm – 6.00pm
