Room information
A spacious, sunny double bedroom with built in robe is available. The room is unfurnished and just waiting for you to add your own personal touch.

Current housemates
The three current housemates (two females and one male) are quiet, friendly people, aged 45-60 years that enjoy actively participating in the running of their home. Music is popular throughout the house—as are movies and dance. The house runs a bunch of different activities and housemates celebrate special events together with family and friends.

Support
Support is flexible and will be guided by individual needs. The home is staffed with a mixed ratio of support to meet current support needs with 1:4 sleepover shifts and all day weekend support. All current residents access employment or community based activities 9am to 3pm weekdays.

Accessibility & nearby facilities
The home is fully accessible—situated on a flat block, with paved and grassed outdoor areas and wide doorways and hallways. There are two accessible bathrooms fitted with handrails and wall mounted showers—one with a Hi Low bath.

Huonville town centre is a short walk or drive away and offers all amenities including shopping, cafes and restaurants, medical services and public transport.

Funding
Potential housemates will need National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding for Supported Independent Living or similar. Currently the residents each contribute to a shared household account from which items such as electricity, groceries, fuel etc. are paid.
