Free introductory training in disability support

Applications are now being accepted for a 3-day training program in Bendigo in March 2023.

Are you a job seeker living in the Bendigo region?

We’ve offering a free introductory training program where you can learn about what’s involved in disability support and find out if it is for you.

The free 3-day program will be held in Bendigo occurring on March 27th & 28th, (with an additional day for First Aid and CPR training at a later date).

 

What you can expect

You will:

  • learn about the types of disability support and person-centred approach
  • get the qualifications you need for a disability support role, including first aid
  • have the opportunity to meet and spend time interacting with a person we support and their support professional

Those who complete all three days of the program may be offered ongoing opportunities with Possability as a Support Professional.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must be over the age of 18, have effective communication skills, have the right to work in Australia, be vaccinated (three doses) against COVID-19 and be available on the above listed dates.
