We’re proud to share some of the many stories that have made this past year amazing. This is especially salient considering everything these 12 months have challenged us with. In the review you’ll hear from a range of people, including people we support, their families and our employees.
We’re so grateful to our contributors who have generously shared their time and energy and allowed us to retell their unique experiences. Similarly, we’d like to thank our Board members and all who collaborate with us for supporting and strengthening the work we do for the people we serve.
We’ve been privileged to witness and share in what has truly been a year of possibilities. You can find our 2019-20 Annual Review here.
Our plan for the next five years
While our Annual Review looks back and celebrates the past year, we’re also looking forward and embarking on an ambitious new plan for the next five years. Our Strategic Plan 2020-25 was developed to guide and unite us—as a for-purpose organisation it’s vital we know who we are and what we stand for.
Our focus continues to be on partnering with people to pursue their potential, make decisions and take the lead in their own lives. To support people to find their place to call home, build their everyday skills and explore community-based employment.
We’ve had a big couple of years and experienced a period of growth and transformation—we completed the Victorian Government Services Transfer and expanded into Queensland. To better reflect the organisation we are now and where we’re heading, we’ve redefined our values: inspired, responsive, courageous and skilful. We’ve also introduced four key pillars to the plan: greater contribution, pursuing potential, driving best practice and collective strength.
With our redefined values, a clear plan that strengthens our work today and well into the future—we’re so excited for what the future holds. And we’re honoured to have the opportunity to support more people in more places.
With thanks,
Possability Engagement Team
