Possability has been successful in a tender to provide support services to clients of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC). We will support 13 clients across two sites in Frankston and Lilydale, south and east of Melbourne.
CEO Drew Beswick said that entering the Victorian market would allow us to further our Purpose ‘to be catalysts of change’ for even more people.
“While initially providing services to TAC clients, it is our intention to also offer services to participants in the NDIS,” he said.
Possability has developed a Statement of Intent which outlines our plans for the region.
“Recently I visited Melbourne and parts of regional Victoria and had the pleasure to meet a range of people working in the disability sector.
“There is some great work being done in the state, but there are also significant service gaps, particularly in regional and outer urban areas.
“We aim to increase service availability and choice for NDIS participants by offering the high quality services that we have become known for in Tasmania.”
The expansion of services to Victoria is aligned with our organisational Strategic Goal ‘to achieve sustainable and well planned growth’.
The new service presence in Victoria will not have any impact on services in Tasmania.
