Two vacancies available in a five-bedroom home in the township of Stawell. The property has a spacious open plan design, with zoned heating and cooling system, and an alfresco dining area for outdoor entertainment with large established gardens and planted areas.

The house is located less than two kilometers from the main shopping precinct, district health services and train station which links Stawell with the larger regional centers of Ballarat and Melbourne CBD. There is a bus stop located 300 metres from the house that goes into the town centre.

Current housemates are two females and one male in their 50s and 60s. They are a close knit group who have lived together for many years and enjoy socialising together as well as relaxing in their own space. They all attend day program five days per week.

The applicant must be aged 18 years or over.

Support

Currently this house offers support seven days a week and is staffed with a sleepover model of support overnight.

If you are an NDIS participant, you will need to have Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding in your plan.

Funding

This home is an enrolled Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) property. The SDA building type for this house is Group Home and the design category is Fully Accessible. Therefore the applicant would need to be eligible for the appropriate SDA level funding in their NDIS plan.

This home would suit an adult with access to the appropriate NDIS funding. This would include the means to pay for rent, house keeping and utilities.
