Guests enjoying the Southern Christmas Party.
Each region held their own Christmas celebration with regional committees comprising staff and clients arranging the specific details of the day. Each event included a two-course Christmas meal, and live entertainment or activities.
The parties were a great opportunity for OAK and Possability clients to socialise with each other in the newly merged organisation. CEO Drew Beswick was delighted to see everyone have a great time.
“It was fantastic to see everyone come together to celebrate the year and enjoy great food and great company,” he said.

Latrobe Children’s Respite
In late November the Latrobe Children’s Respite Centre came alive for a scrumptious Christmas spread. Children enjoyed food, gifts and fanfare with face painting and a special visit from Santa. We were also very lucky to have a visit from the Latrobe Fire Brigade and guests enjoyed sitting in the firetruck and learning how it worked.
Many thanks to everyone involved, especially Children’s Respite Team Leader Bronwyn Folden and the Latrobe Fire Brigade for coming along.

OAK Celebrations
There are two annual Christmas events that OAK holds each year. Supported employees from the OAK Tasmania businesses come together for an end of year dinner, with guests enjoying an amazing two course spread courtesy of Waji Catering. The second event is a BBQ at our Lampton Avenue site for participants in our various programs in partnership with the Lions Club of Glenorchy.

A huge thank you to all of the organising committees, venues, caterers and entertainment involved in bringing these events to fruition. Without the generous time and support from all of these parties, these events would not have been possible.
