When you lodge an expression of interest with us, we place your application in our candidate pool and as positions become available that match the information you have provided  we will contact you and invite you to participate in our selection process.

In the first instance, the assessment activity will always be an interview with a panel of Possability employees. Depending on the needs of the role we are filling we may ask you to undertake other assessment activities as part of the selection process. We will provide you with all the information you need to ensure you have the best possible opportunity to showcase your skills and abilities as you progress through our selection process.

Human Resources Advisor

We are currently seeking a full time, experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our state-wide people and culture team. The position can be based from either our Launceston OR Burnie office, reporting directly to the Human Resource Business Partner, the main focus for the Human Resources Advisor will be assisting with the day to day human resource needs of the business.

You will be involved in:

  • Recruitment & selection processes and procedures,
  • Exiting processes and procedures,
  • Induction training and procedures,
  • Health and safety processes and procedures,
  • Employee training requirements,
  • Employee record keeping activities,
  • Employee performance appraisal processes and procedures,
  • Injury management and return to work processes,
  • Grievance investigation and workplace investigation processes.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone with previous experience working in a HR generalist role, 12 months minimum,
  • previous experience managing WH&S in the workplace specifically workers compensation claims,
  • A minimum certificate 4 qualification in human resources management,
  • Experience in the disability industry id desirable,
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results – you will have a “can do” attitude,
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills,
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake research, assess findings, draw conclusions and report.

Rostering Officer

We are currently offering a full time position as a Rostering Officer.  The main focus of this role will be assisting with the day to day rostering needs of the business. This is a challenging and fulfilling position for a self-motivated person who is highly skilled at prioritizing their workload to meet business critical needs. The successful person for this role will be equally comfortable working independently or as part of a highly skilled team.

Work Force Planner:

We are currently offering a full time position as a Work Force Planner located in Hobart. The purpose of this role is to monitor and interpret client needs patterns, sector developments, legislation, regulations and other agreements and obligations to provide advice, recommendations, support and mentoring to managers to establish and maintain sustainable and effective rotating rosters. Manage the provision of service planning in the allocated program area, including contributing to tenders and establishing funding, programming and contractual arrangements for delivery of new services necessary to achieve organisational objectives.

The required key skills for this position will include strong investigative, research, planning, analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to plan and undertake projects of varying complexity and priority with significant and competing demands. You will also have high level interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, together with the ability to prepare concise and clear written correspondence and reports on complex issues.

To be successful in this position you will have extensive experience in rostering with exposure to the disability support sector, NDIS and other State and Federal funding disciplines.

We are currently seeking casual employees in your area! Where the ideal applicants will be flexible, be able to think on their feet, follow specific support plans and be willing to work in an 1 to 1 support environment.
