Building opportunities for Tasmania’s community and education sectors

Possability is hosting the Building Opportunities Building Communities Conference on 13th & 14th November 2019, at the University of Tasmania, Hobart.

Thought leaders in the disability and child and youth sectors will soon be descending on Hobart to present at the Possability Research Institute’s 2019 Conference.

After the success of the 2018 event, The Building Opportunities, Building Communities Conference will again play host to international, national and local experts on the 13th and 14th of November at the University of Hobart, Sandy Bay.

Presenters will be covering topics such as trauma informed practice, positive behavior support, co-design, practice standards, and coaching and leadership.

Oak Possability CEO, Drew Beswick, said that the conference was fast becoming a must attend event for the community services and education sectors.

“Practitioners and organisations are experiencing growing demand for services and with limited time and resources, innovative and efficient approaches to providing excellence in client centered solutions have never been more important,” Mr. Beswick said.
